Scott+Maddie

I didn't take many pictures at the wedding this last weekend, but let me tell you....it was CRAZY to watch little Maddie marry little Scott! Ok, so I do realize they are full grown adults now, it's just strange to me because in my mind they are always these cute little kids who used to come over to my house to hang out with my younger brothers. Where has the time gone? The wedding was at a gorgeous venue in Fullerton, but it was POURING rain! I think it made for a very romantic reception in a beautiful white tent with candles and flowers. It was lovely and I wish it could have been the big date night Adam and I had planned, but alas, having kids changes everything. Ruby came down with a really bad cold and cough and so Adam stayed home with her while I took Quin and met my mom there who ended up being my "date." All in all it was very fun seeing everyone and I'm incredibly happy for the Bride & Groom!

Photo Shoot

My sister Ashley is insanely talented in many, many areas! One of those areas happens to be photography, which I am of course grateful for! We did a little last minute photo shoot to get some pictures of Ruby & Quin since we haven't taken good photos of Q in quite some time!! Things just go by so much quicker with the second one! I love my little ones so very much & I could look at them all day (oh wait, I do!)! Love that we can capture moments to save and cherish forever. One day I'll look back at their precious little faces and miss them at this age. I'm trying to remember that every day and enjoy them to the fullest! (Sorry for the poor quality of the photos! I got them from facebook since I don't have a disk yet!)

Family Camping!

Ever since I was a little tiny girl my dad used to load us up and take us camping. Over the years as my family grew, so did our camping supplies and we eventually had the ultimate "Camping Van" which my dad fixed up really nice with bunk beds and all. Camping are some of my very favorite childhood memories. I love waking up in the morning and starting a fire, being cozy in a sleeping bag and how fun it is to work for everything and yet have nothing you have to do or anywhere you need to be. I'm SO insanely happy that I married a man who loves camping too!!! Now we are taking our kids camping and it's a lot of fun! We haven't ventured to the mountains yet since the girls are still pretty little, but every year  we go camping down at the beach. Our ultimate goal is Yosemite, but I think we'll wait until the kiddos are bigger. We have a huge group of friends we go camping with every Halloween weekend, and although this year we had many mishaps, we still had fun & can't wait until our Spring trip this coming May!!! Ruby love, love, loves the ocean & was ecstatic that her daddy took her surfing for the first time. He had to drag her out of the water!!!
