Happy Birthday Quin!

One year ago today I gave birth to a beautiful little girl who would forever change my life! She is vivacious, loving, silly, sweet, loud, funny, crazy & always smiling (except when she's screaming.) I love her more than mere words could express. She fills my heart overflowing with joy unspeakable and always puts a smile on my face. Her personality fills a room and

 her electrifying smile and eyes melt hearts.

Camping!

This last week/weekend we went camping down by the beach. We usually only go in October, but we always have such a great time we decided to do two trips this year. We've ended up having quite a group that goes on our trips and it's fantastic! This time there were 24 adults and 14 kids in our immediate group. There were also friends of friends there but they weren't staying within our vicinity. I was sincerely petrified about Quin sleeping this trip. She is already such a light sleeper and only two weeks ago did she finally start sleeping through the night. You can't really ever know what to expect with kids anyway. The first night she didn't wake up ONE single time! Even through the zip and unzip of the tent, the noises from nearby campers and dogs barking! Who knew? The other two nights she did great too! She only woke up once the 2nd night and went right back to sleep. We really had a fabulous time playing at the beach and hanging out with all our friends. Ruby seriously thought she was in heaven with all the kids and dirt and snacks! The last night we had a blast sitting around the fire laughing hysterically and chatting until way past my bedtime. (Well, it was only 11:30, but if you know us you'll know how late that is for me!) The children ate lots of rocks and sand, the adults ate lots of s'mores and I think we all got a little to much sun, but we can't wait for October to do it all again!
