Family Day

You'll probably know right off the bat from reading my blog that I'm obsessed with my girls. Of course, I think they are the most beautiful and the most wonderful! They're mine! I don't think there is anything in the world I enjoy more than being with my husband and girls. It's the light of my life, the best part of my week, and what I look forward to most about the weekends. Today we didn't have anything planned at all except to hang out. We ran errands this morning, got some new sand toys & dropped Allister off to get groomed. It's impossible to get new sand toys and not try them out, so we walked down to the beach for an hour to play. It was WAY to cold for me! It has to be at least 78 degrees or more for me to hang. It was barely brushing 70 and there was a cool breeze and NO sun. Although I complained a bit on our walk over, I'm so glad we went. Both the girls had a blast & it was so fun just hanging out with them and Adam. He really is the most amazing husband and he has such a wonderful sense of humor. I love that he loves me, always laughs at my silly jokes and cherishes me and both the girls with such outright affection. Today was beautiful. It reminded me to be thankful for the life I've so graciously been given, though I don't deserve it one bit! God is so good!

Remembering Our Vows

I become ridiculously nostalgic at times as I'm sure you'll notice as I post random things from the past. I love looking back at pictures of special times in my life and remembering those moment. One occasion in particular that is definitely fond of thinking on is my wedding. I LOVE my wedding photos and every time I look at them I'm taken with them. Of course my wonderful sister & her husband were the photographers (You can check her personal blog out HERE) and we were so thankful for the gorgeous work they did!

I'm the type of person who really loves weddings but the thought of actually having one for myself and walking down a big isle with everyone staring at me made me have the heebie jeebies. I wanted something a lot more peaceful and a lot less stressful. Thankfully Adam was up for anything, so we decided on an immediate family only ceremony in the wine country. It was so NON stressful and I really got to enjoy our day. I especially love the scenery and the fact that we pretty much were able to take pictures all day without anything else demanding our attention!!
