There is one thing I absolutely despise, and that is being sick! I hate it when I feel awful and don't want to do anything, and when my kiddos are under the weather! It's kind of one of those weekends where I'm super bummed by the turn of events! Sick wasn't on my schedule! In days past, when I got sick, it was sipping hot tea and curling up on the sofa watching movies all day. Somehow once you have kids any "you" time disappears and I think I was up six times last night! Alright, enough complaining. It could be worse! And hopefully we will all be back on our feet before you know it! This week wasn't extremely eventful. My mom always used to say that the first few years of having small children is like the movie "Groundhog Day." To some degree, that is correct! Although I love the routine of my precious girls and every day being able to stay with them. I don't regret that for one second. There's nothing better than waking up to their two smiling (or sometimes not smiling) faces! This weekend Adam and I were going to run a bunch of errands we've been needing to get done and go on a MUCH needed date! Looks like we'll have to put it off until next week or weekend....I'm literally desperate for a date! That's one thing that's very difficult to squeeze in these days! My parents live about 30 minutes away, so whenever we make plans it's sort of a big deal! Babysitters are a precious commodity! When we DO get to go out, it will be that much better! :)
